After launching Dana Rebecca Designs 17 years ago, we noticed a growing demand for bespoke diamond jewelry. This inspired us to create DRD Bridal, led by my brother Noah. Being third-generation jewelers, our expertise isn't just inherited; it's a culmination of years of passion and dedication to our craft. Every custom ring and jewelry piece we create reflects the craftsmanship and attention to detail that we've honed over the years. It's our way of infusing a piece of our legacy into each unique creation.

Our Mentor

Our dad, Izzy, is not just our mentor but also an integral part of our journey. He began his career in Chicago as a diamond cutter in the 1970s, later building a successful jewelry manufacturing business. We've learned invaluable lessons from him, such as the importance of quality, craftsmanship, attention to detail, and above all, cultivating and maintaining important relationships. He's often featured on our social media, shining bright like the gem that he is!

About the brand

About Dana

When I was sixteen, I designed my first jewelry collection over summer break and never looked back. Soon, my hobby turned into a genuine passion.

I loved my undergrad years at the University of Texas in Austin where I majored in Corporate Communication and Business. After college, I flirted with law school but my heart led me to the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, CA, for their Applied Jewelry Arts course. Soon after my 2006 graduation, DRD officially launched. A few years later, our bridal collection formed organically and, always staying true to my roots, I tapped into my family’s strengths to grow this side of the business.

I built my business on the simple but important idea that jewelry should make you feel as comfortable as your favorite t-shirt and as amazing as your little black dress. Our bridal collection channels this same concept as we strive to create luxurious, special pieces that capture the sheer magic of the moment while seamlessly transitioning to everyday life.

About Noah

While Dana oversees the entire DRD business, I run the bridal division.

I also loved my undergrad years at the University of Texas in Austin…so much so that I got Dana to follow in my footsteps to become a Longhorn! After college, I returned home and started working in the family business while at the same time attending Law School at night. I wanted to go into the family business [like Dana, I really loved growing up in that world] but also felt that a law background would be a great foundation for eventually running the business. The lure of the jewelry world was too strong and after finishing law school, I immersed myself in all aspects of the jewelry industry.Twenty years later, I truly love my work.

I personally select each diamond that we work with and I’m thoroughly committed to quality [GIA certified staff & diamonds ], ethically sourced materials and local production [all bridal pieces are made right here in our hometown of Chicago].

Overall, I’m a pretty relaxed and straightforward person which is helpful in an industry that can be overwhelming and confusing. I’m all about cutting out the “noise” and making high end jewelry that makes our clients happy! . I greatly appreciate the trust put into me when working with clients to celebrate important life moments.
