Brand Marketing Manager - Chicago, IL

Dana Rebecca Designs is seeking a passionate, creative and analytical Brand Marketing Manager. This role will lead through storytelling, creating and maintaining a content calendar, email/sms strategy and social engagement. The role will be responsible for ensuring the DRD voice is consistent across all assets and channels. Partnering cross functionally, the Brand Marketing Manager will ensure content for digital drives conversion, sales and brand awareness. This person will report to the Vice President of Strategy and have two direct reports. The goal of this role is to own marketing initiatives across the company with a creative and analytical mindset.‌‌

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:‌

Creative & Content

Create compelling marketing initiatives that align with DRD product launch schedule
Manage all content creation, storytelling, copywriting and execution and ensure connectivity across all channels
Write and/or edit all brand copy, including email, webpages, blog and other ad hoc needs
Continuously refine and develop digital marketing strategy by analyzing data and business trends (product and consumer)
Manage DRD Graphic Designer by ensuring all deliverables are on schedule and align with brand aesthetic‌

Marketing

Create and conduct analytics reporting across multiple channels to assess campaign effectiveness, and extract key insights for optimization of future campaigns
Collaborate with e-commerce and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across all brand strategy marketing activities
Support all initiatives with marketing assets as necessary‌

Email, SMS, Social

Own all email communication with external agency
Develop monthly calendar, review analytics and approve email layout, subject and graphics
Develop ad hoc emails as needed
Lead SMS strategy and write copy for SMS messages
Strategize with Social Media coordinator on calendar of assets for Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, and emerging platforms
Partner with the Social Media coordinator on reporting activities to assess performance of the DRD social media channels
Oversee day to day activities of Social Media Coordinator to ensure overall alignment across all Marketing channels‌

Project Management

Manage all marketing related projects in Asana, including assigning tasks, and overseeing all deadlines for direct reports
Oversee all ad hoc creative projects for the company‌This is a hands-on role and an exciting opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing luxury brand.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment, being scrappy and wearing many hats.‌

Ideal Candidate Attributes

5-6 years’ experience in content creation, email or brand marketing
Experience with Canva, Figma, Klaviyo, Asana a plus
Excellent verbal and written skills
Great cross functional partner
Strong organizational capabilities
Confidence in learning new programs
Open minded and eager to learn
Enthusiastic about growing a brand
