2025 Jewelry Trends

Dana Rebecca Designs is dedicated to balancing what’s currently trending with timeless, jewelry classics. Your jewelry collection should tell your story. Some pieces will be very clear reflections of a moment in time, capturing a trend that you were loving years or even decades before. Other jewels are full of sentiment – gifts from friends/loves/family or an heirloom. It’s all about staying true to yourself and what you enjoy despite what’s trending! This year, discover the perfect mix of modern designs with classic undertones. With that said, today we’ll explore “what’s hot” this year with a special focus on what Dana is observing in the realm of 2025 jewelry trends!

Upcoming Jewelry Trends For 2025

  • Layered Necklaces: This trend is a mainstay! From classic yellow gold pieces to playful rose gold accents, the choices are vast. The name of the game is maximalist styling. Think: multiple chains and pendants worn together resulting in a bold, curated look! In 2025, jewelry will be all about mixing different styles. When creating a stack, it’s important to have a little bit of a roadmap – this is our guide to choosing solid base, station and anchor necklaces in order to really nail the layered look

-The base necklace will sit highest up on your neck and will typically be the shortest necklace in your stack. We love any of our tennis necklaces like our Ava Bea Tennis Necklaces or the Lulu Jack Graduating Bezel Tennis Necklace.

-The station necklace is an important component of a layered look because it’s the middle necklace and serves as a link between the other necklaces in the stack. Great station necklace options: our Sophia Ryan Marquise Station Necklace, the Poppy Rae Pebble Station Necklace [the Poppy Rae Eternity Pebble Necklace if your budget allows].

-The anchor necklace completes the look because it grounds and punctuates the entire vibe of a necklace stack. DRD loves the Sylvie Rose Disc and Pavé Bar Necklace (this has been Dana’s personal fave anchor necklace since it launched) or the Lulu Jack Vertical Bar and Diamond Bezel Link Necklace.

  • Statement Jewelry: Don’t be afraid to rock a show-stopping piece! Oversized and attention-grabbing jewelry remains in demand – it’s all about making a personal style statement by proudly rocking an awesome jewel! We love the Sylvie Rose Cuban Chain Long Bar Necklace – it has texture and sparkle which is naturally eye-catching and looks awesome layered! A cuff is another way to make a solid statement. We love our Reese Brooklyn Knife-Edge Bypass Cuff – it’s edgy, glamorous, and naturally the star of the show (or bracelet stack)!

Dana Says: Bold gold is here to stay! We’ll continue to see lots of big yellow gold pieces. The more texture the better – think: shiny gold, cool reflective fluting, and other unique details to add extra spice!

  • Timeless Pieces: Versatile, everyday wear designs like classic diamond studs and tennis bracelets are the epitome of forever jewels. These pieces will always be at the core of any jewelry collection as they will never go out of style! These are truly timeless pieces that pair well in any stack while looking lovely worn alone.

Dana Says: Keep in mind the power of simplicity i.e. one necklace that looks fabulous when worn alone. We LOVE creating an incredible stack but there is nothing sexier than something classic on its own! Props for nailing the vibe: Halle Berry in our Sylvie Rose Long Bar Necklace

  • Personalized Jewelry: Custom pieces featuring initials, birthstones, and zodiac symbols cater to individuality and add extra sentiment to a collection. These meaningful touches cater to individuality, allowing wearers to express their unique identity and add an extra layer of sentiment to their collections.

Dana says: Personalization is here to stay! It’s all about incorporating letters and numbers. Less obvious forms of personalization are also high impact – things like subtly engraving a piece of jewelry adds eternal value and sweetness. Jewelry is all about telling your story. I have seen friends add in pieces from childhood and other sentimental things to their charm necklaces to make it even more special.

  • Bezel Set Jewelry: A bezel is a clean, modern setting that highlights a diamond with understated elegance. Great examples of a classically cool bezel setting: the DRD Round Bezel Set Solitaire Stud Earrings, Lulu Jack Bezel Bar Necklace, and the Lulu Jack Bezel Tennis Bracelet. These features are perfect for those who enjoy stylish yet subtle elegance in their jewelry.

  • Bridal Jewelry Trends:

Dana Says: We will continue to see the classics but with thicker bands – chunky is in! I love the idea of something like a solitaire emerald cut ring but in a bezel setting with double prongs – still classic yet kind of different! I love timeless styles that are elevated with unique details.

We’ll end with a cliche that really holds up when it comes to discussing trends: you do you! If you’re not feeling the popular looks of the moment let your own sense of style and intuition rule and you’ll absolutely create a fantastic look.  One of the best things about jewelry is that if the design has classic roots, the piece will seamlessly translate to current times!
