Shipping

When will my order ship?

The shipping and processing times depend on the specific piece you are interested in. Each product page indicates the status of each product (preorder or in stock).

In stock: All orders placed Monday through Friday before 2 PM CST will be processed and shipped the same business day. All orders received after 2 PM CST will be processed the following business day.

Preorder: There may be times when an item you wish to order is on preorder. Preorder means that the product is out of stock at the time, but the warehouse is aware that you want the item. We'll make sure to have a piece shipped within 3-4 weeks. Backorder products will not ship until they are back in stock, regardless of expedited shipping preferences.

For orders with more than one item, including in stock and out-of-stock items, your items will ship in multiple packages.

*Please note all orders placed on the weekends will be processed the following business day.

Is a signature required for delivery?

We require signature on delivery for items over $600 to ensure that your jewels get to you safely! Shipments arrive via UPS.

Can I have something rushed?

If you need your jewels by a specific date, we will do our very best to accommodate your needs. We do offer several options of shipping: ground, two-day, and next day. However, we cannot guarantee rushed shipments. Please contact us before placing an order if you have a deadline to meet at [email protected]

Do you provide gift wrapping?

We do not provide gift wrapping for online orders. However, all Dana Rebecca Designs purchases come in our signature DRD box in a ready to gift box. You can also add a gift message in your cart by selecting the gift message-gift wrap option. This is your way of letting us know the item is a gift.

Can I ship to a P.O. Box or Puerto Rico?

At the moment, we do not offer shipping to P.O. Boxes and Puerto Rico. We are working hard to expand where we ship.

Do you offer Saturday delivery?

We do not offer Saturday delivery without speaking to a customer care representative. If you require Saturday delivery, please call 312.751.1773. Additional fees will apply.

Will I be charged duties and taxes?

Applicable state and local sales taxes will be charged to all sales where Dana Rebecca Designs has a physical presence. Currently, this is Illinois and New York.

For international order, prices and shipping fees do not include brokerage fees, import and customs duties, Value Added Taxes ("VAT"), tariffs, and other fees that may be levied by the destination country, all of which are the responsibility of the purchaser. Dana Rebecca Designs is not responsible for brokerage fees, import and customs duties, Value Added Taxes ("VAT"), tariffs, and any other associated fees.

Do you ship internationally?

We offer shipping to the following counties:

Austrailia, Beldium, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and United Kingdom

Please note that the following terms and conditions apply to all international orders:

The order recipient is the importer on record and must comply with all laws, regulations and restrictions of the destination country. Prices and shipping fees do not include brokerage fees, import and customs duties, Value Added Taxes ("VAT"), tariffs, and other fees that may be levied by the destination country, all of which are the responsibility of the purchaser. All costs incurred on a refused delivery because of high custom or brokerage fees, duties, taxes or restrictions imposed by the country of destination are the responsibility of the purchaser.

All international orders regardless of payment method are subject to order verification.

For product returns, the purchaser is the exporter from the destination country and is responsible for compliance with all laws, regulations and restrictions of the destination country. Title and risk of loss transfer to DRD upon DRD's receipt of the returned product.

All costs of return must be prepaid by the purchaser.

What if my package is lost or damaged?

Please note that DRD is not responsible for lost or stolen items once declared “delivered” by the carrier.

If your package is lost in transit, please email us immediately at [email protected], and we will try our best to solve the issue.

In the case of a lost or stolen package, we, the shipper, will immediately file a claim with the mail carrier on your behalf and come to a resolution. When submitting a report, it can take anywhere from 8-10 business days for the claim to be completed. Dana Rebecca Designs is unable to replace the lost or stolen item until the claim is resolved with the mail carrier.

Returns

What is your return policy?

Please contact [email protected] for a return authorization number and a prepaid return label.

Items must be returned within 14 business days of receiving the item. Returns must be unworn, undamaged, and unaltered. Your items must be returned in the original packaging, including any boxes, pouches, and other signature packaging materials.

For your holiday shopping convenience, any purchases made during the month of December may be returned up until January 11th.

Please allow 2-4 business days for your return to be processed.

Please note that personalized, custom, final farewell or any reduced priced items are FINAL SALE and may not be returned or exchanged.

To serve you most efficiently, we do not offer exchanges. You will get your new piece faster by placing a new order online.

*Note for international returns: Shipping, customs, and other taxes on international returns must be paid entirely by the customer.

Styling

How do mini & medium chains compare in size?

Our mini necklace chains are delicate in nature and provide the sparkly, barely-there look that our customers know and love. In comparison, for someone who is a little tougher on their jewels, all other necklaces aside from the mini collection are on a medium chain that is a touch sturdier.

Can I layer two 16" necklaces?

The key to the layered look is to make it appear effortless. We find that layering two 16” necklaces can result in tangling. With layering in mind, Dana has specifically designed necklaces in both 16” and 18” chain length options - a combination that always gets it right. The Basics

How long to preorder items take to ship out?

Preordered items typically take 3-4 weeks to ship out. Once the item arrives at our office, we will automatically ship your order to you. For orders with more than one item, including in stock and out-of-stock items, your items will ship in multiple packages.

Do you have a storefront?

While we do not have a storefront, we do have appointment-only showrooms in Chicago and New York City and would love to meet you! We are also available at many department stores and independent jewelry stores across the country. Click here to view a full list of where you can find us.

When is my credit card charged?

Your credit card will be charged as soon as you place your order online, including preordered items.

Do you take phone orders?

While we love putting a voice to a name, we always recommend placing your order directly online to ensure accuracy and the ability to make quick and easy updates.

How can I get an item repaired?

We repair items purchased at Dana Rebecca Designs. Please follow the instructions below to start the repair process:

  2. Someone from our repairs team will reach out within 48 hours of receiving the form with a repair price quote and further instructions.

If your item was purchased through a department store or independent jewelry retailer please contact that retailer for instructions.

Can I return products purchased at department stores or private retailers directly to you?

As we operate separately, items purchased at any of our department stores or private authorized retailers cannot be returned or exchanged at Dana Rebecca Designs.

Can I resize my ring is it doesn't fit?

We are able to resize rings with a metal band up to a full size up or down from the original size purchased, on us! Please note that all eternity, infinity, or bridal bands are unable to be resized. E-mail us at [email protected] if you have any issues or questions regarding your specific ring.

Do you price match with your retailers?

Are your diamonds Conflict-free?

The Diamonds we offer have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict and in compliance with United Nations Resolutions and the Kimberly Process. We proudly assert that these diamonds are conflict free based on personal knowledge or written guarantees provided by the supplier of these diamonds. Furthermore, we deal with only a select number of suppliers whom we have individually vetted to guarantee that all diamonds purchased and sold are from legitimate sources and conflict-free.

How do personalized orders work?

When you place a personalized order, you have committed to the item. Please note that personalized orders are outside the scope of regular designed production and are both non-refundable and non-exchangeable from the time the order is placed. Personalized Orders may be canceled only within 48 hours of being placed.

Do you ever have promotions or sales, specifically on the mini collection?

We work diligently to ensure that quality and pricing are the absolute best for our customers; therefore, we rarely offer promotions on collection pieces. Repairs

How can I repair my jewelry purchased from Dana Rebecca Designs?

Dana Rebecca Designs offers free repairs for jewelry purchased within one year in the United States, excluding Puerto Rico. Please note that repairs are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and additional charges may apply. Any outside (non-DRD) alterations, resizing, or repairs void the item's warranty. Allow 6-8 weeks for all repairs. Rush repairs are not accepted.

Are you able to repair jewelry purchased directly from a Dana Rebecca Designs Retailer?

If your jewelry was purchased through one of our approved retailers and is damaged within one year of purchase, please contact the retailer to coordinate the repair.

Do you offer international repairs?

For all international repairs, please complete our Repair form. Any issues with merchandise will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

What do I do if I lost one earring?

Please email our customer service department at [email protected] for an estimate of the cost of a replacement for a lost/single earring. Concerning lost earrings, we will do our best to replace the exact earring. However, in some circumstances matching color and shapes may not be possible due to the unique nature of Dana Rebecca Designs’ jewelry. All orders for single studs must be placed over the phone or via email. Please note these items are not eligible for return or exchange.

Cleaning & Care

How do I take care of my jewelry?

Dana Rebecca Designs fine jewelry is delicate and should be cared for accordingly. To extend the life of your jewelry, please follow these care instructions.

Take off your jewelry before your daily rituals such as showering, lotion, perfume, etc. Leave your jewelry at home before engaging in strenuous activities such as working out. Do not wear your jewelry to the beach or the pool to avoid exposure to harsh chemicals. Exposure to makeup, oil, and dyes can diminish the sparkle of your jewelry. Before bedtime, lay your jewelry out flat.

For necklaces, please clasp the necklace when removing it to assure the chain does not tangle or knot.

What is the best way to clean my jewelry?

To keep your diamonds shining bright, mix one teaspoon of dish soap and one quart of warm water in a bowl. Remove any buildup by gently rubbing with a soft bristle toothbrush. For any jewelry with gemstones, please contact us at [email protected] or a professional jeweler to ensure safe and gentle cleaning procedures.

What is the best way to store jewelry while traveling?

Our jewelry is delicate and should be cared for accordingly. When traveling with your jewelry, we suggest placing necklaces in a small zip lock bag with the clasp hanging out of the bag to prevent tangling. Place all jewels in a soft pouch for extra protection.

How do I get a knot out of my chain?

Carefully use pointed tweezers to take apart any knots in your chain.

Can I shower/swim in my necklace?

To keep your jewelry looking its best, we suggest taking it off before your daily rituals such as showers, lotion, perfume, exercise, etc. Do not wear your jewelry to the beach or pool to avoid exposure to harsh chemicals. Remember, your jewels need their beauty sleep too so lay them out flat at night.
